How the price is built

You pay per kg of CO₂. On the yearly plan, the more you offset in a year, the lower the rate on every kg. The monthly plan has one rate.

## Credits rated and registered independently

The supplier that fills our orders only buys credits from projects highly rated by Sylvera, BeZero, Calyx Global or Renoster, issued on registries such as Verra, Gold Standard, ACR, Climate Action Reserve and Puro.earth.

### How is the price calculated?

You pick your aircraft and your flight hours for the year. Hours become kilograms of CO₂, and you pay a rate per kg: $0.036 on the monthly plan or $0.035 on the yearly plan, lower as the amount grows.

### What does an hour of flying cost to offset?

A Cessna 172 emits about 88 kg of CO₂ an hour. That is about $3.17 on the monthly plan, and between $2.62 and $3.08 on the yearly plan depending on your volume. The calculator on this page shows your own aircraft.

### Why is the yearly plan cheaper?

The yearly plan starts from a lower rate, and only the yearly plan has volume rates: the more you offset in a year, the lower the rate on every kg. The monthly plan has one rate, whatever the amount.

### What if I fly more than I planned?

Add a one-time purchase whenever you need it, or ask about custom pricing if you offset for a school, club or fleet.

### Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime from your account, and your plan stops renewing. The yearly plan is paid upfront for the year.

### How does the one-time purchase work?

It's $40 for one tonne (1,000 kg) of CO₂ with no subscription, about 11 hours in a Cessna 172.

### Will I get a certificate?

Yes. Each order has a certificate you can open from the orders page of your account.

### I run a school, club or fleet. Is there a plan for that?

Yes. Above 15 tonnes a year we price it with you, with a certificate for every order and a direct contact. Use the Get in touch button to ask for an estimate.
