# TrimCarbon in ChatGPT and Claude

Ask your assistant for the CO₂ of your flying. It uses TrimCarbon’s figures for about 60 aircraft types and shows the result in a card where you can change the hours.

Estimates need no account. They count the CO₂ from burning fuel only.

## Add TrimCarbon to your assistant

- ### Claude

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Select Add custom connector.
  3. Name it TrimCarbon and paste the address below.

## What it can do

- Search aircraft types

  Finds a type by name or ICAO code, with its CO₂ per flight hour.

- Estimate from flight hours

  One aircraft or a whole fleet, per year or in total. You can change the hours in the card.

- Estimate from fuel

  Avgas 100LL, mogas or Jet A, in US gallons, liters or kg.

- Read your logbook

  Pick a ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot or LogTen export in the card. It is read on your device and never uploaded; you choose to share the totals.

- Offset options

  In Claude and developer tools: the options to offset an amount of CO₂, with a link to continue on trimcarbon.com. Nothing is bought in the chat.

- Your TrimCarbon account

  Connect your account to see your impact, your orders and your certificates in the chat. The assistant can only read them.

## What TrimCarbon receives

Only what the tools need: aircraft types, hours, fuel amounts and your language. TrimCarbon doesn’t receive your conversation, and the estimates need no account. If you connect your TrimCarbon account, the assistant can read your own impact, orders and certificates; you can disconnect it at any time on your account page. We record which tools are used, without names or emails, to improve them.
